For the 2006 Fall AGU Meeting, we have released an early version (0.2) of the VMO search interface so the users can see what we are working on and provide feedback.

The version 0.2 release of VMO search interface is an early prototype with the following query types functional:

  • Measurement type query: Only magnetic field measurements are currently registered with the VMO.
  • Time query.
  • Instruments/data sets available: AMPTE/CCE and IMP-8 magnetic field data, WIND MFI instrument and its two data products version 3 and version 4.
The Query Builder tree however offers additional query types that will be made available within a few weeks after a thourough testing. On the other hand, the page layout and presentation of results is not going to significantly change unless we receive user comments and suggestions.
